You don’t love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear.

Oscar Wilde

There was no specific theme, but their aim was to get everyone out of their everyday lives and experience something very unique together. Given the location, the setting was all of that and more – Masseria Potenti is a renovated 13th century farm with a kind of magic in the air. 300 year old cactus gardens line the property in the middle of nowhere, made of white stone; they cook the most fantastic Puglian food with local ingredients, and Maria Grazia furnishes and decorates everything from her archive of vintage finds. From the moment they set foot there, they knew that this was where they wanted to get married. It was also really important for them to have a big focus on dancing and celebrating, rather than sitting down and listening to speeches (although we had a bit of all of that too ☺). They put a big emphasis on the band – Festival Mibely Showband absolutely rocked the evening and so many people in one night had said that it was one of the best parties they’d ever attended.
